Job Description: Omega Foodworks is in search of a well-motivated and responsible person with professional kitchen experience. A strong work ethic and desire to learn about and cook vegetarian and vegan cuisine is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Cook in the preparation and production of individual meals (this could mean breakfast, lunch or dinner).
- Following all New York State Department of Health codes, as well as all H.A.C.C.P. regulations for storage and cooling.
- Providing creative input about meals.
- Provide support to other kitchen stations as needed.
Requirements:
- Professional cooking experience
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Interest in vegetarian and vegan cuisine
