Overview of Department Functions/ Responsibilities: The Omega Children's Program seeks to provide a safe, supportive, and fun space for children on the Omega campus. We primarily care for participant and faculty children between the ages of 4 and 12. We offer the children a wide range of activities from which to choose. Some of these include nature hikes, games, arts & crafts, music, drama, storytelling, swimming, boating, basketball and other sports, yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices. We offer opportunities for learning that may not be available in a typical school setting. Children are allowed and encouraged to explore who they are as individuals and as members of a group, to learn and practice skills in interpersonal relationships and group dynamics, and to feel a connection with nature and all of life.
