Conditions of Attendance

I understand that I am registering for instruction in an activity which may involve physical, emotional, and/or psychological activity and that in case of such an undertaking there is always a risk involved. I understand that in a group setting the instructor cannot always monitor my physical, emotional, and psychological limits, and that I am therefore responsible for assessing the risk any activity poses to me, and choosing a safe course of action for myself.

I agree to assume the risk and responsibility for any injuries or damages suffered by me arising out of my participation in this workshop.

In connection with any food allergies I have, I understand that I am responsible for knowing whether any ingredients to which I am allergic exist in any foods that are prepared by Omega. If I am uncertain about the ingredients of these foods, I am responsible for learning that information from the senior people in the café or dining hall who have prepared or overseen the preparation of such food.

I understand that while I am on an Omega campus, attending an Omega conference, or participating in any other Omega event, Omega may be taking photographs of participants. Some of these photographs will be used by Omega for promotional, educational, or informational purposes in its catalogs, brochures, website and newsletters. By coming on campus, attending an Omega conference, or participating in any other Omega event, I agree that Omega may take photographs that include my image and that such photographs may be used by Omega for promotional, educational, and informational purposes without compensation to me of any kind.

The use of recording devices is strictly forbidden during workshops, conferences, keynote speeches, events, or any other programs at Omega Institute or at such programs sponsored or presented by Omega Institute. CDs and DVDs of many workshops are available through Omega MediaWorks.

Omega's Ride Share information is a free service offered for the convenience of persons traveling to and from Omega's Rhinebeck, New York campus. Please be aware of the following:

• Omega does not make any ride share arrangements for you, we simply provide you with the email addresses of others looking to share a ride.
• Omega is not responsible for ride share arrangements made by Ride Share end-users nor do we guarantee travel arrangements made through Ride Share.
• Omega does not screen end-users and takes no responsibility for anyone you meet through our site.
• Ride Share end-users are responsible for their own decisions when choosing to give out personal information or meet anyone they find on this site.
• You use Omega's Ride Share service at your own risk. Omega is not under any circumstance liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or injury suffered by you or anyone else arising out of or in connection with the ride share program.

By visiting and utilizing Omega's Ride Share information, you are accepting the terms and conditions described above.

Omega Institute for Holistic Studies knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting Omega's websites, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

The information we receive from you helps us personalize and continually improve your Omega experience. Here are the types of information we gather.

• Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Websites or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as sending you catalogs, customizing your Omega experience, improving our customer service, and communicating with you.
• Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. Omega's Websites uses temporary cookies. Cookies are pieces of information that a website sends to your computer while you are viewing the website. These pieces of information allow the website to remember important information that will make your use of the website more useful. The visitor can alter web browser settings to turn off cookies or allow the computer to display a warning each time a cookie is being received.
• Information from Other Sources: We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information.

Information about our participants and visitors is an important part of our business. We often share or 'rent' information for mailings with other like-minded organizations and faculty whose programs or products are of a similar nature to our own. We hope that you appreciate hearing from these organizations and faculty.

Omega sometimes employs third parties to perform services for us. For example, we hire agencies to help administer consumer promotions and to analyze data. Like many other merchants, we also participate in cooperative database services. These parties have agreed to hold this information in confidence and not use it for any purpose except to carry out the requested service(s).

• Secure Sockets Layer: To protect the security of your information while you are visiting Omega's websites, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software that Omega uses encrypts the personal identifiable information you input.
• Login Profile: Some of Omega's Websites may provide you with the opportunity to create a login profile that allows you to save your contact and other information for speedier registration. We recommend you keep this information current. Omega is not responsible for updating login profile information.
• Passwords: To provide you with an increased level of security, access to your login profile is protected with a password you select. We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. Your password will never be asked through unsolicited communication from Omega.
• Third-Party Websites: Omega's Websites may sometimes include third-party advertising and links to other Websites. We do not provide any personally identifiable customer information to these advertisers or third-party Websites. Omega has no control over the privacy practices of sites outside our domain. If you follow a link to another Web site, please read that site's privacy policy.

• Minors: Minors (anyone under the age of 18) are not eligible to pay for Omega services and we ask that minors do not submit credit card information. Omega is not responsible for a minor's use of their parent's credit card.
• Incorrect or Fraudulent Information: A credit card transaction may be canceled by Omega if we reasonably determine that the order information you provided is incorrect or fraudulent, or if we reasonably believe the credit card utilized is from an unauthorized party.

Omega believes in your privacy and we have created easy steps for you to limit or control the way Omega communicates with you and shares your information:

• Promotional eMails: If you do not wish to receive promotional emails from Omega such as our monthly newsletter or weekly email blasts, please follow the instructions at the end of emails you receive from us. From these emails you can 'unsubscribe' or 'manage your subscription preferences'.
• Information Sharing and Mail List: If you wish to control or limit the way Omega shares the information we gather from you, please call us at 800.944.1001 ext. 9022 and we will update your record.

The options listed above are specifically designed to limit or control the receipt of promotional materials and the sharing of gathered information. Omega will still contact you regarding customer service, workshop and conference registration, housing, transportation and other related issues.
